Weekly Reflection #6

This week I am thinking a lot about my pod project and how excited I am for it.

My group is exploring how podcasts can be used in the classroom to assist with education. Besides helping with the planning and the idea generation, my role is to do research on the tech side of creating a podcasting and to execute the post-production editing. I enjoy sound editing (music) and am looking forward to learning some things about podcast editing specifically, which I can carry forward to pass on to students one day if I end up doing a project like this in class.

Here is a screenshot of my podcast project after clipping all of the audio to make it smooth. I also mixed each take to get consistent volumes, and did further sound editing using this page to guide me.

Only thing left to do is add some intro music!
